Kyle Avery, daughter of Paul and Sheila Avery, took to her social media earlier this week to announce the news. She mentioned that her parents had passed away and thanked the authorities for their support.Her post further read, “I’m devastated to share that our parents, Paul and Sheila Garry Avery, passed away early this morning. We loved them so much, and they loved us so much, and nobody ever had to wonder if that was so. We’re grateful to the Blairstown Fire Department for their efforts. Service plans to follow.”In a report from WFMZ, an employee from Avery’s own local newspaper remembered the actor and stated, “I got a call saying what happened, and I just couldn’t believe it. I always like to call Paul the most interesting man in the world, because he was when you consider everything he’s done in his life: Acting, skydiving, Vietnam veteran, started a newspaper.”
Paul Avery and Sheila Avery were found unresponsive in their home in New Jersey, and passed away later due to complications from the fire.

The Leigh Valley Live reported that authorities responded to a house fire on Mohican Road earlier this week. The New Jersey State Police and Blairstown Fire Department were called to the scene around 12:38 AM. While they were able to pull Avery and his wife out of the fire in time, both of them succumbed to their injuries after receiving treatment.At the time of writing, no other details about the case have been shared with the public. The cause of the fire has also not been disclosed to the public yet. The cause remains under investigation right now.
