Veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha recently revisited memorable moments from his decades-long film journey, sharing lesser-known anecdotes on the upcoming episode of the singing reality show Indian Idol.During the conversation, host Aditya Narayan asked the veteran star about his experiences working with legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan and actress Reena Roy.Speaking warmly about his association with Amitabh and fellow actor Jeetendra, Shatrughan Sinha said, “Amitabh hum sabke acche dost rahe hai, bahut film ki hai sath mein aur bahut Kaamyaab filme ki hai, jaise Jeteendra ke sath yeh humare bahut purane one of the best friends hai jeetendra and best colleagues bhi hai aur ekdum non-interfering total inka sath raha hai support raha hai jeetendra ka usse Amitabh jo hai acche bahut badiyaan kalakaar hai aur mujhe inn dono ke sath kaam karne se itna fayda hua, mere sense of humour mein jyada nikhaar aagaya.“(Amitabh has always been a good friend to all of us. We have worked together in several successful films. Just like Jeetendra, who is among my oldest and closest friends as well as one of the finest colleagues, both have always been supportive. Jeetendra has never interfered in anyone’s work, and Amitabh is an exceptional actor. Working with both of them helped me immensely and sharpened my sense of humour.)Over the years, Amitabh Bachchan and Shatrughan Sinha shared screen space in several successful films, including Kaala Patthar, Dostana, Shaan, Naseeb, Parvarish and Bombay to Goa.Despite their successful collaborations, reports in the 1970s and 1980s often suggested that Amitabh Bachchan and Shatrughan Sinha shared a tense professional equation. In several interviews over the years, Sinha claimed that certain people in the industry allegedly attempted to reduce his screen time or importance in multi-starrer projects because of the strong audience response he received. These circumstances reportedly fuelled speculation about a cold war between the two stars.However, with time, both actors moved beyond those differences and have consistently spoken about each other with admiration and respect.Shatrughan Sinha also enjoyed a successful on-screen partnership with Jeetendra, appearing together in films such as Parvarish, Maang Bharo Sajana, Jaani Dushman, Jyoti Bane Jwala, Khudgarz, Maqsad, Hoshiyar and Aag Aur Shola.
