When most teenagers were attending online classes during the Covid-19 pandemic, Ayush Singh was teaching himself artificial intelligence. The 19-year-old is now making headlines after a post shared on X claimed that his AI-focused venture earns around Rs 1 crore a month. According to the post, Ayush’s journey did not begin with access to elite institutions or expensive resources.“He’s not an IITian, not an MIT grad, and wasn’t born with a silver spoon,” the post said. His interest in AI reportedly began when he was 13 years old. At the time, his family was facing financial difficulties during the pandemic. The post said he had very little to work with.“At 13, during Covid, his family hit a financial crisis. All he had was outdated courses, a patchy internet, a laptop, and a ridiculous amount of curiosity.”Despite those challenges, Ayush decided to learn machine learning on his own using whatever resources were available to him. The post claimed his efforts started paying off quickly.“Within months, he was working with startups abroad,” it said. It also claimed that “At 14, MIT recommended his course publicly.”Over the next few years, Ayush reportedly worked on natural language processing systems for a US-based startup. He also gained experience as an MLOps engineer and data scientist while continuing to build his profile in the AI sector.According to the post, he later founded Antern and co-founded Second Brain Labs. Alongside his startup work, he also began teaching artificial intelligence to engineers.“Today, he’s teaching AI to hundreds of engineers across India, helping them land the kind of work that once felt out of reach,” the post said. However, turning that knowledge into a successful business was not easy. The post noted that despite helping hundreds of learners, teaching was not generating the returns he expected.“And yet, for all of it, the teaching was never paying him back,” it said. According to the post, things changed when he focused on presenting and selling his expertise more effectively. The story quickly gained attention online, with many social media users reacting to the entrepreneur’s achievements at such a young age. “My 28-year-old self is feeling jealous and depressed seeing so many kids achieve so much at such a young age,” one user wrote.
