Jackie Shroff’s advice for today’s generation is not to take too much tension

While featuring on one of the latest episodes of the ‘Be a Man, Yaar’ podcast, veteran actor Jackie Shroff had a conversation about how today’s generation has a lot of things to worry about. However, the actor cited that as long as there is health in a person’s life, all other tensions and issues can take a backseat. He added, “Depression nahi lene ka beta. Maa ka pressure, ghar ka pressure, kaam ka pressure, padhai ka pressure, paise ka pressure, duniya ka press, health ka pressure nahi lene ka” (Son, don’t get depressed. Don’t get under the pressure of your mother, home, work, studies, money, world, and health.”) Further on he added that as long as your health is there, you have nothing else to worry about.“Health jab tak hai sab sahi hai. Jaha tera health gaya game baj gaya”, he further quipped.

Jackie Shroff talks about not taking pity on yourself

He also quipped about how we all know the end is inevitable, so there is no reason to put yourself. He instead urged people to live life as much as they could. He added, “Toh jab malum hai apne ko ant toh usme apni shanpatti kuch nahi karne ka. Yaar mein bada soul so jata hu. Yeh sab pity pity ke chakkar mein bahut lafda hai. Pity self-pity karne ka nahi. Khatam baat” (So when you know the end, there’s no point in doing anything to calm yourself down. My soul falls asleep in love. All this pity-pity is a big deal. There’s no point in self-pity. That’s it.)Over the years, the actor has created a persona around his laidback and chill lifestyle, and has time and time again expressed how he himself does not think too much about certain matters. However, he believes in living life to the fullest.
