The Directorate of Training and Technical Education (DTTE), NCT of Delhi, is set to start the registration process for admission to Delhi Government Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) for the academic session 2026-27.Eligible candidates can apply online through the official admission portal, itidelhi.admissions.nic.in. The admission process includes online registration, eligibility verification, merit list preparation, counselling, and seat allotment.Candidates are advised to complete their applications well before the deadline to avoid any last-minute technical issues.

Delhi ITI admission 2026: Eligibility criteria

Candidates who have passed Class 8 or Class 10, depending on the trade they wish to apply for, are eligible to participate in the admission process.Applicants must be at least 14 years old as of August 1, 2026. There is no upper age limit, allowing both young students and working professionals to apply for skill-based training programmes.To be eligible for admission, candidates must either be residents of Delhi or have studied in a school located in Delhi.Students from neighbouring states such as Uttar Pradesh and Haryana are advised to check the admission portals of their respective states for ITI admissions.

Application fee

Candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs 200 while submitting the online form.However, the following categories are exempted from paying the fee:

  • Female candidates
  • Reserved category candidates
  • Persons with Disabilities (PwD)

How to apply for Delhi ITI admission 2026

Candidates can follow the steps below to complete the registration process:

  • Visit the official website at itidelhi.admissions.nic.in.
  • Click on the “New Registration” link available on the homepage.
  • Select the Directorate of Training and Technical Education, Delhi, and choose “Delhi ITI Counselling 2026.”
  • Click on “New Student Registration” and accept the terms and conditions.
  • Enter personal details such as name, date of birth, gender, mobile number, and email ID.
  • Create a password and complete the registration process.
  • Login credentials will be sent to the registered mobile number and email address.
  • Log in using the credentials provided.
  • Fill out the application form, upload the required documents, and pay the application fee, if applicable.
  • Submit the form and download the confirmation page for future reference.

Admission process

Admission to Delhi Government ITIs will be conducted through a merit-cum-counselling process.After the completion of registration and eligibility verification, a merit list will be prepared. Candidates shortlisted through the merit list will be invited to participate in the counselling and seat allotment process.

Delhi Government ITIs offer a variety of Engineering and Non-Engineering trades across different sectors. These include technical, vocational, and skill-based programmes in fields such as:

  • Engineering trades
  • Beauty and Wellness
  • Apparel and Fashion
  • Technical training programmes
  • Other vocational disciplines
