The makers of Dhanush‘s highly anticipated ‘D55’ have unveiled a new promotional video ahead of the film’s title announcement. Although the teaser stops short of revealing specific plot details it provides several intriguing hints about the world the story is set in.

The teaser features visuals of Indian currency notes floating through the air, stock market graphics, public demonstrations and vehicles engulfed in flames.While the makers have not officially confirmed the storyline, the teaser indicates that the film may tackle issues extending beyond conventional commercial entertainment.Directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy, who earned acclaim for Amaran, the film brings together a strong ensemble cast. Dhanush headlines the project alongside Mammoottt who returns to Tamil cinema after his acclaimed performance in ‘Peranbu’.The film also stars Sai Pallavi and Sreeleela in important roles. Veteran actor Indrans is expected to play a key character as well. Another highlight of the upcoming film is the involvement of composer Sai Abhyankkar who is fresh from the success of Suriya starrer ‘Karuppu’.

Mammootty shared the promotional video on social media and confirmed that the title reveal is just around the corner.
