UGC NET June 2026: NTA opens portal for PwD candidates to submit scribe details

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the online portal for eligible Persons with Disabilities (PwD) and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) candidates to submit details of their scribe for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) June 2026 examination.According to the public notice issued on June 18, 2026, eligible candidates can submit their scribe details through the official UGC NET website within the specified timeline.

UGC NET June 2026 exam dates

The UGC NET June 2026 examination will be conducted at various centres across the country on the following dates: June 22, 2026, June 23, 2026, June 24, 2026, June 25, 2026, June 29, 2026, June 30, 2026.NTA has already informed candidates about their examination city and exam date through the Advance City Intimation Slip. The admit cards have also been issued.

Scribe details submission window

The facility has been provided for eligible PwD and PwBD candidates who wish to avail the scribe facility during the examination.As per the schedule announced by NTA, the portal for submitting scribe details will remain open from:

  • June 18, 2026 to June 20, 2026 (up to 5 PM)

Candidates are advised to complete the process within the deadline to avoid any last-minute issues.

How to submit UGC NET 2026 scribe details

Candidates can follow these steps to register their scribe details:

  • Visit the official UGC NET website.
  • Log in using your application credentials.
  • Click on the “Register Scribe Details” option available on the candidate homepage.
  • Select the scribe option and enter the required information.
  • Submit the details carefully.
  • Once submitted, the information will be reflected in the “View Application Form” section and on the confirmation page.

Important instructions for candidatesNTA has clarified that the “Register Scribe Details” button will be visible only to eligible PwD and PwBD candidates who are entitled to avail the scribe facility.Candidates are advised to check all details carefully before submission, as the information provided will be used during the examination process.For the latest updates regarding UGC NET June 2026, candidates should regularly visit the official website.
