ACN prices softened across major Asian markets during the week, influenced by improved product availability and measured purchasing activity from downstream consumers. On a CFR Far East Asia basis, prices declined by *.** per cent week-on-week (WoW) to $*.*** per kg, while CFR Southeast Asia prices fell by *.** per cent to $*.*** per kg. The softer trend was primarily driven by the normalisation of regional supply following earlier production disruptions and subdued procurement from Chinese acrylic fibre producers amid weak domestic textile demand.
In contrast, Western markets remained stable. CIF Europe prices were unchanged at $*.*** per kg, while FOB US Gulf values held at $*.*** per kg. The substantial premium of European and US markets over Asian benchmarks continues to reflect higher production costs, tighter regional supply balances, and differing downstream demand dynamics.
