The Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) has declared the results of the Assam Combined Entrance Examination (CEE) 2026. Candidates who appeared for the entrance test can now check and download their rank cards by visiting the official website, astu.ac.in.The Assam CEE is conducted for admission to Bachelor of Technology (BTech) programmes offered by engineering colleges across the state.The entrance examination was held on June 14, 2026, in offline mode. The test lasted for three hours and consisted of 120 multiple-choice questions carrying a total of 480 marks. The paper included three sections—Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics—with 40 questions in each section. The question paper was available in both English and Assamese. Candidates were awarded four marks for every correct answer, while one mark was deducted for each incorrect response.Before announcing the result, ASTU had released the provisional answer key on June 14 after 6 pm. Candidates were allowed to raise objections through the answer key challenge window until June 16, 2026, at 6 pm. After reviewing the objections received, the university prepared the final answer key and declared the results.

How to download Assam CEE 2026 rank card

Candidates can follow these steps to check their results:

  • Visit the official website at astu.ac.in.
  • Click on the “CEE 2026 Rank card” link.
  • Enter your application number and password.
  • Click on View Rank Card.
  • Your Assam CEE 2026 result and rank card will appear on the screen.
  • Download and take a printout for future reference.

What after the Assam CEE result?

Candidates who have qualified in the entrance examination should register for the counselling process. After registration, they will have to fill in their preferred colleges and courses. The counselling process will include document verification, followed by seat allotment.Candidates allotted a seat must complete the admission process by paying the required admission fee within the given deadline to confirm their seat.
