BTMA, RMG Club Ltd explore strategic partnership in Bangladesh

The Bangladesh Textile Mills Association (BTMA) and RMG Club Ltd recently began discussions on a strategic partnership aimed at enhancing the global competitiveness of the country’s textile and apparel industry through innovation, sustainability and stronger industry collaboration.RMG Club Ltd is a new platform in Bangladesh to unite leaders across the country’s readymade garments sector.

Trade bodies BTMA and RMG Club Ltd are exploring a strategic partnership to enhance the global competitiveness of Bangladesh’s textile and apparel industry through innovation, sustainability and stronger industry collaboration.
They identified priority areas for future collaboration.
Both reaffirmed their commitment to building a more resilient, competitive, and sustainable textile and apparel ecosystem.

The two sides identified many priority areas for future collaboration. These include strengthening cooperation between textile manufacturers and garment exporters; promoting technological innovation, productivity enhancement and sustainable manufacturing; encouraging research, leadership development and industry knowledge-sharing; and expanding international trade, investment and global networking opportunities, according to domestic media reports.

Both reaffirmed their commitment to building a more resilient, competitive and sustainable textile and apparel ecosystem in the country.
