DU BTech round 1 seat allotment result 2026

The University of Delhi (DU) has released the round 1 seat allotment result for BTech admissions 2026. Candidates who registered for admission can now check their allotment status through the official admission portal at admission.uod.ac.in.The allotment result has been prepared on the basis of candidates’ Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2026 scores. Applicants can log in using their registered JEE Main application number and password to view the allotted branch and admission status.

Candidates must accept seats by June 29

Students who have been allotted a seat in the first round must accept the offered seat by June 29, 2026, up to 4:59 PM.After candidates accept their seats, the concerned departments, centres, and colleges will verify and approve the submitted applications by June 30, 2026.To confirm admission, candidates must complete the fee payment process by July 1, 2026. Failure to pay the admission fee within the given deadline may lead to cancellation of the allotted seat.

How to check DU BTech round 1 seat allotment result 2026

Candidates can follow the steps below to check their allotment status:

  1. Visit the official DU admission portal at admission.uod.ac.in.
  2. Click on the “B.Tech Admission Portal 2026-27” link.
  3. Enter your registered JEE Main 2026 application number and password.
  4. Log in to the candidate dashboard.
  5. Check the allotted branch and seat status.
  6. If a seat has been allotted, click on the “Accept” option to begin the verification process.

Courses offered through DU BTech admission

For the 2026-27 academic session, Delhi University is offering admission to the following Bachelor of Technology (BTech) programmes:

  • Computer Science and Engineering
  • Electronics and Communication Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering

Admissions to these programmes are being conducted through JEE Main 2026 scores.

Registration and allocation fee details

Candidates seeking admission to DU’s BTech programmes are required to pay a one-time, non-refundable registration-cum-allocation fee.

  • Rs 1,500 for candidates belonging to the Unreserved (UR), Other Backward Classes-Non Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL), and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) categories.
  • Rs 1,200 for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) categories.

DU BTech admission 2026 round 2 schedule

According to the admission schedule, the round 2 seat allotment result will be announced on July 3, 2026.Candidates allotted seats in the second round will be able to accept them between July 3 and July 8, 2026. The respective departments, centres, and colleges will verify applications from July 3 to July 9, 2026.Students must complete the admission fee payment process by July 10, 2026, to secure their allotted seats.
