National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the advance examination city intimation slip for the ICAR AIEEA (PG) and AICE JRF/SRF (Ph.D.) 2026 entrance examinations. Candidates can download it from the official ICAR examination portal by logging in with their application number and password. The entrance examinations will be conducted on July 4, 2026, in computer-based test (CBT) mode for admission to postgraduate and doctoral programmes in agricultural and allied sciences for the 2026-27 academic session. NTA has clarified that the city intimation slip is only meant to inform candidates about the city where their examination centre has been allotted. It is not the admit card. The admit card will be issued separately at a later date.
How to download the ICAR 2026 exam city slip
Candidates can follow these steps to download the city intimation slip:
- Visit the official ICAR examination website.
- Click on the ‘Advance City Intimation for ICAR PG’ or ‘Advance City Intimation for ICAR PhD’ link on the homepage.
- Enter the application number and password.
- Submit the details.
- The city intimation slip will appear on the screen.
- Download it and take a printout for future reference.
Scribe details for PwD candidates
Along with releasing the city slip, NTA has also opened the online portal for PwD/PwBD candidates who are eligible to use a scribe during the examination. Eligible candidates can submit their scribe details from June 25 to June 27, 2026, until 11:59 pm. After logging in to the official ICAR examination website, candidates need to click on the ‘Register Scribe Details’ option on the dashboard, choose the appropriate scribe option and submit the required information. Once submitted, the details will be reflected in the ‘View Application Form’ section as well as on the confirmation page.
