India A vs Sri Lanka A Unofficial Test, Day 3 Live Score: Captain Dhruv Jurel led from the front with an unbeaten 141 as India A declared their first innings at a commanding 452/6 on Day 2 of the opening unofficial Test against Sri Lanka A on Friday.

The visitors then struck twice with the new ball before Sri Lanka A recovered to finish the day at 113/2, still trailing by 339 runs.

Resuming the day on 68 not out, Jurel made full use of the batting-friendly conditions and turned his overnight half-century into a superb hundred.

The wicketkeeper-batter remained unbeaten on 141 off 215 balls, an innings that included 13 fours and a six. He mixed caution with attacking strokes to keep India A firmly in control.

Shaik Rasheed, who resumed on 53, added only 10 more runs before falling for 63. The pair shared a valuable partnership that laid the foundation for India’s big total.

After Rasheed’s dismissal, Harsh Dubey joined his captain and played an important supporting role.

The all-rounder scored 30 off 51 balls, hitting two fours and a six, as he added 86 runs for the sixth wicket with Jurel before being dismissed by Chamika Gunasekara.

Gunasekara was the pick of the Sri Lanka A bowlers, claiming two more wickets on the second day after removing Rasheed and Dubey.

India A made the perfect start with the ball as Anshul Kamboj and Yash Thakur reduced Sri Lanka A to 38/2.

Kamboj dismissed wicketkeeper-batter Niroshan Dickwella for 10, while Thakur bowled Pawantha Weerasinghe for 11 to put the hosts under pressure.

Sri Lanka A recovered through Nuwanidu Fernando and Ashen Bandara, who denied India A any further breakthroughs.

Fernando remained unbeaten on 65 off 103 balls, striking seven boundaries, while Bandara was not out on 18 at stumps.

The pair added an unbeaten 75 runs for the third wicket to take Sri Lanka A to 113/2 at the close of play.

India A entered Day 2 after finishing the opening day on 333/4, with Sai Sudharsan having scored 132. Jurel’s century helped the visitors extend their dominance before declaring on 452/6.

With a lead of 339 runs and Sri Lanka A still eight wickets down in their first innings, India A remain firmly in control heading into Day 3.
