Iran launched attacks on US military facilities in Bahrain, Kuwait and Jordan for a second night in a row, retaliating against US ‘self-defence’ strikes.

Iran launched missile and drone attacks on several US military facilities in Bahrain, Kuwait and Jordan for a second consecutive night, retaliating against US ‘self-defence’ strikes against Iranian military infrastructure near the Strait.

The US strikes targeted air defence, radar and surveillance facilities in southern Iran, including sites used to monitor maritime traffic, the US Central Command said.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry yesterday said its Gulf neighbours had a ‘legal and moral responsibility’ to prevent American and Israeli strikes.
