The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) is expected to begin the KCET 2026 counselling web option entry process today, June 13. The option entry stage is an important part of the admission process for candidates seeking seats in engineering, architecture, pharmacy and other professional courses offered by colleges across Karnataka.Through the counselling process, candidates can select and prioritise colleges and courses according to their preferences. Seat allotment will be carried out based on KCET rank, category-wise reservation, availability of seats and the order of choices entered by candidates. The expected start of web option entry comes shortly after KEA released the KCET 2026 verification slip on its official website. Candidates who have completed document verification can download the slip from cetonline.karnataka.gov.in using their registration number, password and captcha code. The verification slip is an important document as it confirms that a candidate’s personal details, academic records, category claims and reservation details have been verified by the authority.
