Hyderabad: Medical technology company Medtronic has entered into a strategic partnership with Apollo Hospitals to launch an advanced intensive care unit (ICU) at Apollo Hospitals, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, aimed at strengthening critical care infrastructure through technology-led innovation.As part of the collaboration, the partners have established the “ICU of the Future“, an 11-bed intensive care unit fully integrated with Medtronic’s Acute Care & Monitoring (ACM) technologies and solutions. According to Apollo Hospitals, the initiative marks a significant step towards advancing collaborative healthcare innovation and enhancing the delivery of critical care.
Developed in collaboration with Medtronic’s ACM team, the integrated ICU is designed to address evolving clinical needs by combining advanced monitoring technologies with clinical expertise. The facility aims to support clinicians with real-time patient monitoring and informed decision-making, while contributing to improved patient outcomes.Apollo Hospitals said the collaboration is intended to foster closer engagement between clinicians and technology leaders, creating a platform for integrating innovative healthcare solutions into everyday critical care practice.
