The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has started the online registration process for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2026. Eligible candidates can now submit their application forms through the official NBEMS website.According to the official notification, the NEET PG 2026 examination will be held on August 30, 2026, in computer-based mode at examination centres across the country. The application window will remain open from 5:00 pm on July 1, 2026, to 11:55 pm on July 21, 2026.Candidates are advised to carefully read the Information Bulletin before filling out the application form and avoid waiting until the last date to complete the registration process.

Important instructions for candidates by NBEMS

NBEMS has issued several important guidelines for applicants before they submit their forms:

  • Candidates should read the Information Bulletin carefully before applying.
  • Test city allotment will not be done on a first come, first served basis. Submitting the application early will not increase the chances of getting a preferred test city or centre.
  • Applicants must choose three preferred test states while filling out the application form.
  • The first preferred test state must be the same as the correspondence state mentioned in the application form.
  • The remaining two preferred test states should be neighbouring states.
  • Candidates must provide a valid correspondence address along with acceptable address proof.
  • The correspondence address and preferred test states cannot be changed after submitting the application form, even during the edit window.
  • Candidates must upload a recent photograph taken within the last three months, along with their signature and other required images as per the prescribed guidelines. Applications with unclear, edited or incorrect images may be rejected, and the admit card may not be issued.
  • While NBEMS will try to allot a test city based on the candidate’s preferences, it reserves the right to allot a test city or examination centre anywhere in India due to administrative, security, logistical or technical reasons.

Candidates can follow these steps to complete the registration process:

  1. Visit the official NBEMS website.
  2. Open the NEET PG 2026 Registration link.
  3. Register using the required details.
  4. Log in and fill in the application form.
  5. Upload the required documents in the prescribed format.
  6. Pay the application fee through the available online payment options.
  7. Review the details carefully and submit the form.
  8. Download and save the confirmation page for future reference.

Requests or representations submitted through any other mode may not be considered and could delay the response. Candidates are encouraged to complete the registration well before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issue.
