AkzoNobel and Axalta have revised proposed governance arrangements for their pending all-share merger of equals after shareholder and stakeholder dialogue.
The changes shorten the period before annual director re-election to three years and lower certain initial board approval thresholds.
AkzoNobel’s EGM and Axalta’s SGM remain planned for August 5, 2026, with existing agenda items unaffected.
