PSF prices remained largely stable this week, but rising PTA, PX (paraxylene) and crude oil costs are squeezing producer margins across the polyester chain.
If feedstock prices stay firm without matching fibre price increases, manufacturers may reduce operating rates, tightening supply and supporting a gradual PSF price recovery in the coming weeks.
