In the hush and gush of our daily lives, we have forgotten that a little act of kindness has a magnificent impact without us even noticing. Be it through helping someone, smiling back to brighten their day, or a short, meaningful conversation, it can mean the world to them.
Most of the time, we expect results or getting something back out of every little effort we put in, completely ignoring the beauty that lies in giving without expectations of any rewards.
Diana wasn’t just a royal princess, she was someone who genuinely touched lives through her empathy, from hugging people with HIV when others feared them to advocating for landmine victims around the world.
She did nothing grand, but just listened patiently and kindly to what people expressed, held people’s hands, bent down and hugged children like they were her own, earning her the popular title of ‘the people’s princess’.
