Aramco and PETRONAS have signed an agreement for PETRONAS to acquire Aramco’s equity stakes in PRefChem, making it a wholly owned subsidiary, subject to closing conditions.
The move strengthens PETRONAS’ operational integration while allowing Aramco to optimise its downstream portfolio.
Both companies will continue exploring crude supply, technology and product distribution cooperation.
