A trader from Mumbai market told Fibre*Fashion, “Cotton yarn demand is still facing headwind due to shortage of labour, and production related other issues. Fabric demand from downstream industry also remained weak. Buyers are adopting cautious strategy for purchase of raw materials. However, market will stabilise once labour shortage eases in the near future.”
