The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will close the registration process for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination 2026 today, June 25, 2026. Eligible candidates who have not yet completed their application process can submit their forms through the official SSC website before the deadline.The Commission had reopened the application window after receiving requests from candidates who were unable to complete their registrations within the original deadline. This extension provides one final opportunity for eligible applicants to apply for one of the country’s largest recruitment examinations.According to SSC, more than 28 lakh candidates have already successfully submitted their applications for SSC CGL 2026.The reopened application process began on June 23, 2026, at 11:00 PM and will remain active until June 25, 2026, at 11:00 PM.Candidates are advised not to wait until the last moment and should complete the registration process as early as possible to avoid technical issues caused by heavy traffic on the website.The SSC CGL 2026 recruitment drive is being conducted for more than 12,000 vacancies in various ministries, departments, and offices of the Central Government.
Fee payment deadline
Candidates who complete their applications within the extended registration period will be able to pay the application fee online until June 26, 2026, at 11:00 PM.Applicants must ensure that both the application submission and fee payment processes are completed successfully for their candidature to be considered valid.

Application correction window
SSC has also revised the application correction schedule following the extension of the registration deadline.The application correction facility will be available from July 1 to July 3, 2026, up to 11:00 PM. During this period, candidates will be able to make permissible corrections in their submitted application forms.
Eligibility date revised
The Commission has clarified that June 25, 2026, the revised closing date for applications, will now be treated as the crucial date for determining eligibility conditions wherever applicable under the SSC CGL 2026 notification.
No changes in other conditions
Apart from the revised registration, fee payment, and correction window dates, all other terms and conditions mentioned in the original SSC CGL 2026 notification issued on May 21, 2026, remain unchanged.Candidates who have not yet applied are advised to complete their registration before the application window closes today.
