OXEA has taken a final investment decision to expand its Bay City, Texas oxo chemicals site, increasing propionaldehyde and enabling propanol and butanol capacity.
The project strengthens supply security for intermediates used across its global customer base.
Air Liquide will build and operate an on-site syngas unit, with completion expected by the end of 2028.
