Cambodia’s exports reached $17.09 billion in the first half (H1) this year—a 19.5-per cent YoY rise, official statistics show.
The US was the largest export market during the six-month period, with shipments valued at $7.17 billion, accounting for more than 42 per cent of total exports.
The country imported goods worth $19.76 billion during the period—an increase of 21.4 per cent YoY.
Vietnam ranked second, importing goods worth $2.52 billion from Cambodia, followed by China at $943.34 million.
Japan and Canada also remained key markets, receiving exports valued at $906.53 million and $634.02 million respectively, according to dome
Cambodia’s main export products are textiles, garments, footwear products, leather goods, furniture, machinery, electrical equipment, grain, rubber, fruits, vegetables, pearls and toys.
Meanwhile, the country imported goods worth $19.76 billion during the period—an increase of 21.4 per cent YoY.
