CDC, JDI discuss Cambodia-Japan SEZ master plan

The Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) recently discussed with the Japan Development Institute (JDI) formulation of an international-standard master plan for the Cambodia-Japan Special Economic Zone (SEZ).The SEZ project aims at enhancing Cambodia’s attractiveness to support the supply chains of Japanese investors and businesses in the country, Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister Sun Chanthol said while meeting visiting JDI founder-president Shoichi Kobayashi.

The Council for the Development of Cambodia recently discussed with the Japan Development Institute formulation of an international-standard master plan for the Cambodia-Japan Special Economic Zone.
The project aims at enhancing Cambodia’s attractiveness to support the supply chains of Japanese investors and businesses in the country, Cambodian Deputy PM Sun Chanthol said.

Kobayashi highly commended the initiative and reaffirmed JDI’s readiness to leverage its global network of experts to support this project into tangible realization, according to a Cambodian media outlet.

He shared several critical success factors and global experience as strategic inputs for formulating a robust master plan that is attractive, builds strong confidence and precisely matches the practical requirements of Japanese investors.
