What**;s changed under the July ** EUDR revision
The Delegated Act removes cattle hides and leather under customs codes ****, **** and **** from EUDR scope. Retreaded tyre casings, soybeans intended for sowing, vulcanised rubber apparel (ex ****), and motor-vehicle and aircraft seats have also been excluded.
At the same time, the Commission has added soluble (instant) coffee, frozen cattle tongues and several palm oil-derived oleochemicals, including fatty alcohols, glycerol and soap forms.
The clarification on packaging is particularly important for fashion companies. Single-use and reusable packaging including cardboard cartons, wooden pallets and paper hangtags is now explicitly excluded from EUDR regardless of the material used. Marketing brochures, labels and similar printed materials are also outside the regulation**;s scope.
