North India cotton yarn stable amid cautious buying, export demand

Cotton yarn prices opened today at the previous levels as demand scenario and tone did not change in this week. The market witnessed average demand which was enough to maintain prices. A trader from Ludhiana market told Fibre*Fashion, “Buyers were buying with requirement base approach. Aggressive buying was lacking in cotton yarn market. Buyers expected price cut because of ease in geopolitical tensions and falling crude oil. Although, spinning mills are not feeling pressure to sell cotton yarn in local market. They are getting enough orders from export market as mills say.”
