Uber India and South Asia President Prabhjeet Singh has stepped down after more than a decade with the ride-hailing company, the company confirmed on Thursday, PTI reported.An Uber spokesperson said Singh is leaving the company to pursue another leadership opportunity.“We thank Prabhjeet for his leadership and lasting contributions in his decade-long journey with Uber – we remain deeply committed to our next phase of growth in India,” the spokesperson said.Calling India one of Uber’s most important global markets, the company said the country remains a key driver of innovation and long-term growth.“The strength of our business today reflects the incredible team and foundation built over the years,” the spokesperson added.
