The University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) June 2026 examination is scheduled to be conducted from June 22 to June 30. The examination determines eligibility for Assistant Professor posts, Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and admission to PhD programmes.Ahead of the admit card release, NTA had already issued the city intimation slip for registered candidates. The slip informs candidates about the city where their examination centre has been allotted, allowing them to make travel and accommodation arrangements in advance.Candidates should note that the city intimation slip is only meant to provide advance information and cannot be used for entry into the examination hall. Any discrepancy should be reported to the concerned authorities immediately.NTA has instructed candidates to carry a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid photo identity proof to the examination centre.
