US’ Olin, Huntsman to merge into $12.5 bn chemicals giant


US-based Olin Corporation and Huntsman Corporation have agreed to an all-stock merger of equals, creating OlinHuntsman with projected 2025 revenue of about $12.5 billion.
The deal is expected to generate over $400 million in cost synergies and integration benefits, strengthen vertical integration and expand capabilities across chlor-alkali, polyurethanes and advanced materials markets.
