Key price movement
TexPro daily assessments show China**;s domestic *.*D lyocell easing from CNY **,*** (~$*,***) per metric tonne on Monday, July **, to CNY **,***/mt (~$*,***/mt) by Friday, a decline of CNY ** (~$*), or *.** per cent. India**;s Ex-Works benchmark remained unchanged at ****;*** (~$*.**) per kilogram throughout the week. Pakistan**;s domestic benchmark edged up by PKR * (~$*.**) to PKR ***/kg (~$*.**/kg), representing a *.** per cent increase.
Each of these movements remained well within the normal daily bid-ask range for man-made cellulosic fibre (MMCF) staple fibre. Rather than reflecting a directional shift, the market continued to trade within an established range despite a week dominated by significant US trade-policy changes.
