Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) has unveiled a series of new onboard enhancements for Norwegian Jade and Norwegian Gem, introducing upgraded wellness facilities, new adults-only spaces and additional guest amenities across both ships.The refurbishment includes redesigned Thermal Suites at the Mandara Spa and Salon, featuring expanded wellness experiences based on guest feedback. Both ships now offer three times more hot tile loungers, upgraded steam rooms and saunas, redesigned reception areas, and new wellness features including charcoal saunas, salt rooms, ice rooms, IV lounges and four-senses loungers.Norwegian Jade has also added experiential showers and a plunge pool designed to support muscle recovery and relaxation, while Norwegian Gem now features an updated hot tub and Thalassotherapy pool with massage jets, bubble loungers and countercurrents.The enhancements also include the introduction of the adults-only Vibe Beach Club on both ships. Located on deck 14, the outdoor venue offers ocean views, a private full-service bar, an additional hot tub, more than 50 premium lounge chairs and seven private cabanas.Norwegian Jade has also added a licensed Starbucks outlet, expanding the cruise line’s offering of branded food and beverage options across its fleet.The upgraded ships will operate across multiple international itineraries. During the summer 2026 and 2027 seasons, Norwegian Jade will sail seven-day Alaska cruises between Vancouver and Whittier, while Norwegian Gem will operate Mediterranean and Greek Isles voyages visiting destinations including Cannes, Livorno, Split, Dubrovnik and several Greek islands.Following its Alaska deployment, Norwegian Jade will return to Asia for the first time in seven years. The ship will offer voyages ranging from nine to 14 days from Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo and Incheon, with itineraries covering destinations across Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, Brunei, Taiwan and the Philippines. Select sailings will include overnight stays in Hong Kong and extended port calls in Japan and South Korea.
